As for the display, there is no comparing the Fascinate to any other phone we have seen. The Super OLED display is as clear and sharp as advertised. While the Droid is sharp and easy to see, the Fascinate seems to pop images off the screen at you as you hold it in your hand. Video playback is nearly as enjoyable as watching the TV in your family room. Remember, this is still a 4 inch screen.
With a 1Ghz processor and 8Gb of memory, the Fascinate whips through any task you throw at it. Moving around from screen to screen is fast and effortless, while scrolling through apps is smooth and easy. Like the Droids, the Fascinate comes with a 5 megapixel camera for shooting stills and video. Memory is expandable to 32Gb if you need it.
Unfortunately, we experienced some problems with our samsung galaxy S8, which would not allow us to fully complete the necessary steps. (This is an isolated incident with this particular unit.) We can tell you however, that under the phone’s main “settings” tab, which is accessible by pressing the “Settings” button from the home screen, there is a menu item for “USB Settings,” which is not available on the other phones. We suggest keeping it on the “Ask on connection” setting.
People don’t compare this to the iPad but actually now that I’ve played around with it I feel you can kind of compare it to an iPad. Initially I really didn’t want the 7″ screen and would have preferred a 10″ but after owning it I do now prefer the 7″ because I can hold it in 1 hand. With a 10″ like the iPad it’s not as easy to hold. It’s a nice size for games and traveling.
B. Camera: Galaxy S III from Samsung has an incredible camera quality. With 8 MP camera and 1080 p video quality, it is definitely unmatched and unbeatable. Plus, it is a dual camera phone with a front-facing camera of 1.9 MP that gives a boost to your video-chatting requirements. On the other hand, Nokia Lumia 710 from T-Mobile has a decent 5 MP camera but it has features like LED Flash and Auto Focus. Plus, it enjoys High Definition video quality.
So to my new Samsung. I have nothing to compare it with except my old “dumbphones”, which probably gives this review a different slant to most others you may stumble across. The practical upshot is that I am incredibly impressed. The screen is magnificent, the functionality incredible and the extensibility amazing.
Yes finally you can take screen shots without a third party app. They may have had this in their previous version of Android too but it’s not in Gingerbread. For the Nexus 7 just hold the volume button and power button for a few seconds and it will take a screenshot.
Battery timing, a big concern for music lovers, is on a lower side if Nokia Lumia 800 is concerned. Galaxy S3 has got more capacity with respect to battery power. The display size of Galaxy S3 is more that is 4.8 inches touchscreen surface with 720 x 1280 pixels. On the other hand Lumia 800 has small touchscreen of 3.7 inches. The camera is of same quality and capacity. Both are installed with an 8 megapixel camera. GPS is also present in both handsets.
